MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION
The medium of instruction and first language from Nursery to X classes is English.
Three Languages, i.e. English, Kannada and Hindi are taught from Grade UKG – VIII.
For ICSE IX and X, only two languages are taught.
The Academic Year and Terms of our School are as follows:
The Academic year is from June to April followed by summer vacations.
The Academic Year is divided into 3 terms:
- First Term : from June to September
- Second Term : from October to December
- Third Term : from January to April

PRE-SCHOOL (KINDERGARTEN)
Our early childhood programme emphasizes child-centric, self-directed learning and is concerned with the child’s intellectual progress as well as its social, emotional, creative and physical well-being. Concrete experiences in a number of areas are provided for children of this age to learn by doing.
- Through practical life experience.
- Through specially designed sensorial materials.
- Through language experiences such as Story Telling, Writing Experiences, Reading, Role-Play, Animated Videos and rhyming process.
- Through Shape identification, computing and comparing, tiny tots begin to grasp mathematical relationship.

PRIMARY SCHOOL ( I – V)
The goal of primary curriculum is to lay a strong educational foundation. The curriculum is planned to develop in the students a respect and love for learning, while giving them the strong basic skills, which they will need to continue their education.

FEES
Each pupil is provided with a user id and password for online fee payment. The School fee has to be remitted within the stipulated time. Fees for the whole term will have to be paid, even if the student is withdrawn during the middle of the year.
TESTS, EXAMINATIONS & PROMOTIONS
The school conducts Unit Tests, Mid-Term and Final Examination during the academic year. The student’s academic progress is assessed by means of tests and exams. They are also assessed on all co-curricular activities. Parents will be regularly informed about the performance of their wards. Promotion to the next class depends upon the performance of the wards throughout the year. There will be no re-examination in case a student is unable to appear for an examination.
WITHDRAWAL
Issue of Transfer Certificate will be after 7 days of submission and application. All dues are to be fully paid for the receipt of TC. Unsatisfactory performance of a pupil may lead for the withdrawal of the child from the school roll.

3. Class I to X
Monday to Friday – 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday – 8:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
The primary and secondary classes will function on all Saturdays except Second & Fourth Saturday of every month.

NOTE:
Parents may meet teachers between 3:30 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. Parents may meet Principal between 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. or between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on prior appointment.
SCHOOL CAMPUS
As a part of Silver Jubilee Celebration, we have made a separate campus for the little ones. MAXIM KIDS – the Kindergarten Section of Maxwell Public School is furnished with Spacious and smart classrooms. Continuous monitoring by CCTV enhances the security aspect. Individual attention by the Teaching Staff and Customized and Theme Based Curriculum with a loving and caring atmosphere motivates the little ones to a great extent.
